Wavelet-based multiresolution algorithm for integral and boundary element equations in electric and magnetic field computations

This paper presents the multiresolution algorithm for integral and boundary element formulations of electric and magnetic field problems. Incorporating the merits of entire domain and subsectional basis functions, a sparse matrix can be directly obtained. Thus, memory storage is reduced and, by using diagonal preconditioning, the solution of the equations can be accelerated.
