Summary from only given. We designed and built a KTiOPO/sub 4/ crystal collinear phase matching optical parametric oscillator (OPO) that rotates the image of the resonated wave by 90/spl deg/ on each pass of the cavity. Our goal is to verify the predictions of high beam quality from such an OPO even for high pulse energy and large Fresnel number.
