For an accurate location-determination of a mobile station, a new location estimator is presented that directly estimates and compensates for an unavoidable non-line-of-sight (NLOS) propagation error usually contained in the time-delay measurements. The proposed estimator is applied to both simulations and field trials of CDMA wireless location for verification
