Early detection of changes in nanostructures of a biological cell greatly improves chances of successful treatment of deadly diseases. There is considerable dependence of light scattering on intracellular morphology, which is especially apparent when obtaining measurements over large ranges of scattering angle. We propose a device for the simultaneous imaging of scattered light over a wide angular range. If introduced in clinical procedures for diagnostics and therapeutics, the device has the potential of rapidly identifying in one single test the morphological condition of the cell. We developed a technique that allows adequate contrast between variations in scattering intensity at various angles. Details related to the principles of the method, design of the device, as well as experimental data will be presented at the conference.
