Parametric identification of linear time varying systems using a proportional reduced order observer

This paper studies the problem of the identification of one, unknown time varying or time invariant parameter of a linear system. The suggested approach employs very simple differential algebraic tools. The general idea consists in converting the identification problem into an observations one.
