We derive a formula for the capacity of single and multiple antenna channels with ISI, where coefficients vary in time as a stationary ergodic vector process; the capacity and the average input power are parametric Lebesgue-Stieltjes integrals with respect to a limiting eigenvalue distribution function (LEDF) of a sequence of channel matrices. To show the existence of LEDF for the multiple antenna (MA) case, we extend the results for random ergodic operators to operators defined in terms of asymptotically mean stationary and block stationary measures.
