The paper looks at performance evaluation of a Local Multipoint Distribution Service (LMDS) system extended to support mobile users. The N-state Markov chain is used to model the LMDS wireless channel with Nakagami fading. Realistic traffic models of file transfer protocol (FTP), voice sources, and real video traces are used. Discussion of the numerical simulation results is presented.
