Recently there has been a strong demand for the further miniaturization and high frequency response of DC/DC converters. Application of a thin film inductor to the DCDC converters may promise to enhance the miniaturization and efficiency. Therefore, the characteristics of thin film inductor play an important role in the efficiency of the DCDC converters.
