The author describes current and future wireless applications that are likely to become our companions in future journeys. This article shows how the concept of personal vehicles has changed in the last decades. Our vehicles will become not only a safe and comfortable means of transportation but also a digital platform for entertainment and access to a vast quantity of information while traveling.
