Eclipse Rich Client Platform (RCP) is a platform for building and deploying rich client applications. It offers a much richer user experience than is possible via Web technologies. Although companies such as Adobe, IBM, JP Morgan, NASA, and Swiss Rail have used it for several years, RCP demands good understanding to be productive. Authors Andreas Kornstädt and Eugen Reiswich describe how to get started. Their hands-on experiences should help readers master the steep learning curve.
