A hybrid access scheme called time code division multiple access (TCDMA) is proposed for indoor wireless communications. The indoor radio channel is modeled in terms of channel impulse response by taking into account various indoor measurement results. Various simulation methods are used to reduce the computational complexity and to ensure the result accuracy. The simulation results of system performance reveal the capability and the capacity of TCDMA in a typical indoor cell such as in an office building of medium size
