Algorithms traditionally are developed on off-the-shelf digital signal processors. Recent silicon technology advances have made FPGAs become feasible as an alternative solution. This paper aims to explore algorithm hardware-migration technologies, in particular, Levinson-Durbin based linear predictive coding algorithm into FPGAs.
