A 50MHz 8Mb video RAM with a column direction drive sense amplifier

Recently, higher picture quality is essential to TV, VCR and graphics display system. From this viewpoint, Field or frame memories have been developed as a delay element for digital video signal processing, for example IMb video RAM (VRAMYII. To obtain B system with low cost and high performance, however, a video memory system with high speed and large capacity is eagerly required. This paper will describe an 8Mb .VRAM with B 5OMHz serial data access path.
