An analysis of the electromagnetic field in double-pole linear induction system

Summary form only given. The analysis of the electromagnetic field in linear induction systems is done by four dimensional electromagnetic potentials together with the theory of the magnetic sidebars. A model of the variable magnetic charge is used. The components of the magnetic field vector in the Minkowski space as the elements of the Maxwell's tensor are determined. The results obtained are compared with those from the finite elements method. The method can also be used to determine the induced electric field.
