Distributed intelligence and modular architecture for next generation DC power system

This article describes and analyses a modular architecture for the next generation of DC power systems. It also presents the system engineering approach followed to ensure that customers requirements are all fulfilled and that the distribution of intelligence amongst the various modules is optimized.
