A managerial approach to digital printed circuit board testing

Today's test managers are learning that to stay competitive they need to integrate every aspect of the printed circuit board testing cycle. Manufacturing, factory service and on-site service must work together, other wise, they will be snowed under with duplica tion, excess inventory, non-repeatable test results, down products and disappointed users. Characteristics of various test echelons, physical characteristics of testers selected for each echelon and the overall management integration of each echelon will be discussed.
