Broadband Subcriber Access Systems and Technologies

One of the most challenging tasks in establishing a new gllobal information infrastructure is rebuilding the subscriber access network. The old circuit-switched telephony network must be replaced, requiring an enormous investment in new broadband circuitlpacket multi-service networks. This presentation describes the competing systems and technologies that will enable the transition to occur.
