Potential of the Optimum Modulus Method

Methods for controller synthesis can be divided into the two large groups according the formation of the stabilizing feedback. Most methods belongs to the group with difference form of the feedback. Into the same group belong also all the modifications of the Modulus Optimum (OM) method. Analyzing the examples originally solved using various modifications of the MO methods, in this paper we present an advantages of the proposed unified approach to the controller synthesis.
