Error probability with incoherent diversity reception of FSK signals transmitted over fast Rician fading channels

We compute the error performance of noncoherent detection receivers for FSK signals transmitted over fast frequency-flat Rician fading channels. Linearly time-varying fading models are used to derive closed-form expressions for the error probability of binary FSK signaling. Error bounds are established for the performance of M-ary orthogonal FSK. Simulation results are in excellent agreement with analytical predictions.
