Remarks on the feasibility of full-wave analyses of printed lens/transmitarray antennas

The full-wave analysis of a specific type of printed lens antenna is performed using the commercial code HFSS. This is done with the antenna operating in the receive mode and then in the transmit mode. The feasibility and usefulness of such computations is demonstrated.
