Given the Green Light: El-Tantawy driven by adaptive signal control [WIE from Around the World]

Samah El-Tantawy is cofounder and director of a yet-to-be-named start-up company in the adaptive traffic signal control industry. She completed her Ph.D. in 2012 in the field of intelligent transportation systems at the University of Toronto. She completed her bachelor's degree in electrical and communication engineering and her M.Sc. degree in engineering mathematics at Cairo University in 2004 and 2007, respectively.
