Soft computing techniques on automatic synthesis of greenhouse climate controllers

The methodology proposed in the paper deals with the use of artificial intelligence techniques in the modelling and control of some climate variables within a greenhouse. The nonlinear physical phenomena governing the dynamics of temperature and humidity on such systems are, in fact, difficult to be modelled and controlled using traditional techniques. The paper proposes a framework for the development of fuzzy logic controllers (FLC) in modern greenhouses.
