E-Car trial to test effect on network of local clusters [News Briefing]

A FIRST-OF-ITS-KIND trial will look at what effect local clusters of electric vehicles will have on the electricity distribution network when they are all drawing their charging current from the same substation, and will test a way of managing the impact without costly network reinforcement.
