Performance evaluation of “special red” tubes

This article reviews and analyzes life-test results accumulated on “Special Red” tubes during the past four years. Data are presented on the range of major characteristics and the changes in these characteristics during the life of the tubes. This information will be of value to both the designer and the user of electronic equipment because it will provide data on the life expectancy and the range of anticipated performance variations.
