Theoretical framework to costruct optimal flight safety diagnostic procedures

The problem of reconstruction of the avionic equipment diagnostic procedures to meet the new challenges is discussed. After short review of the essentials of the modern Information and Optimal Control theories ways of their applications in the framework of proposed mathematical formalism are described.
