Polar Coordinates for Space Phasors in Power System Transient and Small-Signal Stability Analysis

This document describes an alternative approach for the application of space phasors in transient and small-signal stability analysis in power systems. This is done by a transformation into polar coordinates. The resulting equation systems and their embedding in the basic equation systems are shown in comparison to the conventional approaches.
