Some techniques for solving ordinary differential equations with discontinuities in real-time simulation

This paper discusses some techniques for treating discontinuities of the right-hand functions of ordinary differential equations (ODEs) in real-time digital simulation (RTDS). The numerical experiments show that these techniques are effective.
