Noise thermometers for hostile environments: a theoretical evaluation

The theory of the operation of noise thermometers in hostile environments is described. The unknown parameters of the measurement system are identified and analytical and experimental efforts required for application of noise thermometers for temperature measurements in hostile environments such as nuclear reactors are delineated.<
