Design and in vitro testing of a bipolar intramuscular electrode stimulating/recording circuit

Describes the design and in vitro testing of a circuit and system intended for intramuscular electrical stimulation and EMG recording using a single bipolar pair of implanted electrodes. Control of late recovery potentials occurring on the electrodes through selection of electrode material and surface area is a critical factor for this approach to be feasible.
