The Port Alice papers [power system load additions]

This paper describes project site conditions at a remote location on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, and defines the challenges faced when adding a large new load to an existing small power system. The Port Alice Papers describe a major installation in an existing pulp mill in Port Alice, British Columbia.
