Sliding mode control and state estimation for nonlinear singularly perturbed systems. Application to an induction electric machine

A nonlinear control-observer structure for a class of nonlinear singularly perturbed systems, based on a two-time scale sliding-mode control and an output injection state estimator, is presented. This structure is applied to the model of an induction motor.
