Application of discrete time model regulation to force control in automated polishing

Discrete time model regulation (DMR) is applied to a force control loop characteristic of automated polishing in this paper. Robustness of DMR to plant modeling error is analyzed first. Then, simulation results are used to demonstrate the effectiveness of DMR for automated polishing.
