Establishment of the volt at CENAM of Mexico

A voltage standard system based on a Josephson junction series array to represent the volt at Centro Nacional de Metrologia (CENAM) has been established. This paper describes early efforts to set the system up. Tests upon the Josephson array were carried out and preliminary results of the system's performance are presented.
