Decomposition of a multivariate continuous system with pure integrations

An algorithm for extracting the integrating part of a linear multivariable continuous system is presented. It is shown that, in general, a continuous system can be additively decomposed as a subsystem with a nonsingular system matrix and a subsystem with a bank of pure integrators.<
