An economical solution for video CD

A single chip, video CD decoder is described which has been optimized for low cost consumer video CD players complying with the current version (2.0) of the video-CD standard. A summary of decoder features is given with particular emphasis on the decoder features provided for support of video CD play control lists and "trick modes".
