Site measurements for installation of an indoor radio communication system

Radio propagation measurements and empirical models for the design of indoor radio communications systems and planning tools development are presented. Narrowband channel sounders in the 1.9-GHz band are used to investigate path loss and wave propagation characteristics. Site measurements are done within different buildings. Models considering site-specific information are proposed for prediction in corridors, in non-line-of-sight conditions, and in transversal corridors.
