Quantification of the Alpha EEG Modulation and Its Relation to Cerebral Blood Flow

A novel method for quantifying the modulation features of the alpha EEG rhythm in terms of global amplitude and frequency modulation indexes has been developed. The method was used to determine the correlation between the modulation of the occipital alpha EEG rhythm and cerebral blood flow.
