Properties of accommodation models

The properties of physically realistic scalar accommodation models are discussed using a new Preisach-based model. Such properties include the absence of accommodation in the major loop and the existence of a threshold field below which no accommodation occurs. Three types of accommodation processes are classified and discussed.<
