An algorithm for the computation of 2-D eigenvalues

In this paper, a definition for the eigenvalues of two-dimensional (2-D) general discrete state-space models is proposed. This definition is consistent with that known for 2-D Roesser models. Also, a programmable algorithm is developed to compute the 2-D eigenvalues.<
