An automated measuring system for one-to-ten volt DC

An automated measuring system for one-to-ten volt DC measurements has been developed at SP (the Swedish National Testing and Research Institute). A new voltage divider has been built which makes it possible to make all measurements using a voltmeter with nanovolt resolution. An active guard system has been built up and an evaluation procedure for the low thermal scanner used has been established. The uncertainty (1 sigma ) for the measuring system is +or-0.08*10/sup -6/.<
