The primitive operator graph synthesis technique: application to one and two dimensional digital filters

This contribution reviews the previous work of the authors in the area of reduced complexity realisations of digital filters. The work is extended here to demonstrate how the graphical techniques employed may be adapted for use in a wider range of signal processing applications.<
