Observing fluid mixing using electrical impedance tomography/applied potential tomography

The image technique developed for in-vivo imaging has been shown capable of observing and measuring fluid mixing. The noise level approximately 1% is probably adequate for many experimental uses. However, the in-vivo cardiac gating work has shown that averaging can be used to reduce the noise level. The present data collection system is a serial system; by using parallel data collection the noise level can be further reduced.<
