High frequency, high resolution ultrasound techniques in medicine

The authors briefly review the development of new copolymer materials. They also cover the design and construction of transducers from such materials, including multi-element linear and phased arrays. The uses that such transducers can be put to, showing results from A-scans, B-scans and Doppler blood flow measurements are then presented. Finally, some indications of the industrial applications of this sort of work are made.<
