PSAD, a new tool for condition monitoring of large component in EDF power plant

Electricite de France (EDF), like many utilities of major countries, looks for ways to improve availability and safety of its nuclear units. PSAD is an on-line monitoring system which provides plant personnel and experts with an efficient and user-friendly aid in decision making for the detection of failures occurring on the main components of nuclear power stations. It has a flexible architecture so it can accept both existing and new monitoring functions.<
