A method to estimate the acceleration factor for subassemblies

A method is given for estimating the equivalent acceleration factor for a subassembly, from component data. The method puts no restriction on the type of component-life-distribution nor type of stress test, provided an acceleration factor is known for the components. Examples are given for an electronic circuit.<
