High-speed coupled-cavity injection grating lasers with tailored modulation transfer functions

The modulation transfer function can be changed from broad-band to high frequency narrow-band by using a coupled cavity injection grating laser design. Higher order photon-photon resonances are utilized to tailor the modulation function well beyond the relaxation frequency.
