Investigation of periodic multilayered metamaterial structures by the modernized translation matrix method

An inhomogeneous isotropic periodic medium with negative parameters is studied. Two similar approaches based on translation matrix method are considered. Comparison of these approaches is carried out. The reflection and propagation through layered slab are also studied.
