A new realization method for 2-D digital transfer functions

This paper presents a general method for realizing an arbitrary 2-D digital transfer function. The realizations are obtained in terms of two types of delay blocks, adders and multipliers. The techniques presented here can be used to obtain infinitely many realizations of the same transfer function.
