Long-term stable operation of optical path cross-connect system on "MIRAI-net" testbed

This paper describes the long-term stability of the optical path cross-connect system developed in 1998 on PLC-switch technology. It has been tested as part of the "MIARI-net" testbed since the beginning of 1999, and has stimulated photonic MPLS networking technology.
