Time domain scattering from curved surfaces

The time-dependent form of the electric field integral equation (EFIE) is used to solve transient scattering problems for perfectly conducting surfaces. The basis functions of Rao et al. (1982) and a time marching method-of-moments technique are used to solve the time-dependent EFIE. A special testing procedure and an averaging technique are used to overcome solution stability problems at late times. Numerical results obtained using the proposed algorithm are presented.<
